ABOUT US
Peace Over Pieces exists to support survivors of domestic abuse as they rebuild their lives.
We create a platform where survivors can safely share their stories through podcasts, videos, and community conversations. These stories break the silence around abuse while helping others realize they are not alone. Every story shared helps someone else find the courage to seek help.

Beyond storytelling, we work to provide real support during the most difficult stage of abuse the transition out. Through donations, community partnerships, and survivor-focused initiatives, we help connect people with resources, safe housing options, and emotional support so they can begin rebuilding their lives.

We believe healing begins when survivors are heard, supported, and surrounded by a community that cares.
Peace is not something survivors stumble into.
It is something we build together.

"Peace Over Pieces began long before it became a nonprofit. It began in my childhood."

I grew up in a home where abuse and control were part of daily life. My father was abusive toward my mother, and for years our house was filled with chaos, fear, and sleepless nights. When my mom finally found the courage to leave, I watched firsthand how difficult it is for survivors to rebuild a life after abuse. Leaving is only the beginning. What comes next can feel just as overwhelming.

That experience shaped everything I’ve built since. I eventually attended Westminster College, where I studied marketing and entrepreneurship, and went on to start Ground Plan Studio, a national digital marketing agency. While my career focuses on helping businesses grow, the deeper purpose behind my work has always been about helping people rebuild and find their footing again.

Peace Over Pieces was created to support survivors during that transition. Through storytelling, community events, survivor podcasts, and direct support, we work to help people move from surviving to rebuilding. My hope is simple. That no one navigating life after abuse ever feels like they have to do it alone.
